Legal Analysis of National Anthem Protests in the NFL
In order to write this paper I conducted extensive research on the topic of National Anthem protests in the National Football League, breaking down the legal rights of NFL players, owners, and the League. For my work, I was selected as the recipient of the 2018 Pat Maloy Excellence in Writing Award. My paper can be read here.
Ford x Twitch: Entering the eSports Industry
Through collaboration with a team of fellow students, my team and I created a marketing plan for Ford Motors to reach millennials by entering the eSports industry. The plan focused on advertising through Twitch, sponsoring Ninja, the top eSports influencer, and partnering with the popular game Fortnite to digitally launch new Ford vehicles. The idea was pitched to representatives of Ford Motors, and was well received. Our work can be seen here.
Detroit Pistons Friday Night Out Sponsored by Budweiser
For this project I created a hypothetical event, Friday Night Out Sponsored by Budweiser, for the Detroit Pistons to include with their Friday night games. The event specifically targets millennials ages 21-30 in Metro Detroit, and can be seen here.
Public Finance: New Tampa Bay Rays Ballpark Analysis
For this project I analyzed the public finances and demographics of Tampa Bay in order to create the case for a public bond that would raise $450 million for a new MLB ballpark. My analysis can be seen here.
Strategic Marketing Plan: The Sweet Sixteen and Elite Eight in Detroit
Through collaboration with four of my peers, we created a hypothetical plan to bring the Midwest Regional Round of the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament to the Little Caesars' Arena in Detroit. Our strategic report can be read here.
